Licensed Benefit Advisor-FULLY REMOTE

About the role

This position will be working in the EST time zone and is fully remote.

Responsibilities

• Selling and enrolling retirees into appropriate insurance products including but not limited to health, prescription drug, vision, dental plans, and advising Pre-Medicare eligible recipients of their options.
• Conducting needs analysis and assisting retirees in selecting an appropriate plan for their needs.
• Providing Medicare education and offering customer service assistance.
• Maintaining the highest levels of integrity, being responsible, disciplined, and producing quality work.
• Passing licensing exams (AHIP and carrier certifications) annually.
• Identifying Medicare prospects' needs using a needs analysis-based selling approach, accurately answering questions, addressing concerns, and recommending appropriate plans.
• Enrolling retirees compliantly and efficiently by reading scripting verbatim.
• Meting and/or exceeding key performance indicators.
• Handling inbound service calls by providing accurate and complete information with the intent of enrolling the customer in the appropriate plan.
• Actively managing all appointments to follow up with a prospect.
• Responding to voicemails within 24 hours, internal chat requests, handling and resolving customer complaints and/or client escalations.
• Maintaining a consistently positive customer experience in a highly ethical and professional manner.
• Using strong computer skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and experience using multiple screens.
• Absorbing new information and adapting to new processes rapidly.
• Maintaining active resident health (and life if required) insurance license, or ability to renew license prior to start date, and any riders required by state (Med Sup/Illness/Critical Care).
• Accurately providing information and following specific processes for test calls.

Requirements

• Has an active Health License
• Has at least one year sales experience
• Has at least one season of Health sales experience
• Has at least one season of Medicare Sales Experience
• Still Acceptable: Has an active Health License
• Has 0-1 years of sales experience (doesn't have to be utilizing license)
• No Medicare sales experience

Disqualifications

• Not having an active Health license
• Not having CEs done prior to exp if license expires this year
• Having ANY active appointment on license
• Not being flexible to the schedule
• Not being okay with being a captive agent
• Not being okay with the position starting out as "seasonal/temp"

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43,680.00 - $43,680.00/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
