Licensed Behavioral Health Professional (LCSW/LCPC)

About the Role

Provides assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy, and discharge coordination for patients on inpatient behavioral health units, supporting an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conducts individual, group, and family counseling aligned with treatment goals.
• Facilitates group therapy sessions and involves families regularly.
• Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, documenting progress and recommendations.
• Collaborates with the treatment team and community providers to develop and execute personalized care plans.
• Initiates discharge planning early, ensuring smooth transitions and patient advocacy.
• Assists with legal issues related to treatment, including guardianship and court proceedings, ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
• Utilizes CPI methods to manage aggressive or violent behavior and supports milieu management when census is low.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with relevant certifications.
• Minimum of 1+ years experience.
