Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor | Crisis Intake - Access

About the role

Provide behavioral health counseling services. Conduct patient assessments and establish therapy treatment goals. Administer individual and group therapy. Maintain thorough and confidential records of observations. Evaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions. Provide patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community. Work directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborative care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge.

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: One or more of the following required: Licensed Associate Counselor specializing in Mental Health, Licensed Associate Counselor specializing in Clinical Addiction, Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Associate Therapist specializing in Marriage & Family.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Social Work required.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Qualifications

• Eligible candidates must have a master’s in Counseling, Social Work, or another related field and must have a FULL license as a LMHC, LCAC, LMFT, or LCSW.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
