About the Role

As an Assistant Salon Manager (ASL) at Hair Cuttery, you’ll be the "Right Hand" to the Salon Leader, keeping the energy high, guests happy, and the team on track. When the Salon Leader is out, you’re in charge! This role lets you keep your creative edge "behind the chair" while developing business and leadership skills. It’s the perfect launchpad for those ready to step into management without giving up styling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Floor: Manage daily operations, including appointment scheduling in Zenoti, and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Coach & Mentor: Use the IGROW model to help stylists achieve their goals and grow their careers.
• Maintain Standards: Ensure the salon meets State Board and OSHA compliance for safety and cleanliness.
• Marketing Support: Assist with local partnerships and digital campaigns to promote the salon and brand.
• Onboard New Talent: Welcome and train new stylists, introducing them to Hair Cuttery’s culture and standards.

Requirements

• Cosmetology License: Current license in the state of application.
• Full-Time Commitment: Minimum 40 hours per week.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and perform salon services with precision.
• Essential Skills: Great attitude, basic math skills (inventory/cash), and strong communication. Previous leadership experience is a plus.
• Personal Equipment: Bring your own tools daily.

Qualifications

• Current Cosmetology license in the state of application.
• Full-time availability (minimum 40 hours per week).
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform salon services.
• Strong communication and basic math skills.
