About the role

At Stranger Soccer, we're expanding our unique football experience platform to new cities and are looking for a License Owner / Operator in Portland to take the reins. This role is designed for individuals who understand football culture, thrive on building something meaningful, and are ready to own and operate their own venture with the support of a proven global brand.

Responsibilities

  • Manage operations including scheduling, team recruitment, and player management
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to grow the football community in Portland
  • Ensure every game delivers a consistent, high-quality experience
  • Build and maintain relationships with local clubs and players
  • Collaborate with the HQ team to implement best practices and improve the football ecosystem

Requirements

  • Strong local insight into football culture and community dynamics
  • Strategic thinking and leadership skills
  • Experience in entrepreneurship and independent business operations
  • Passion for football and a desire to make a difference

Qualifications

  • Experience in sports management or related field
  • Ability to work independently with support from HQ
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
