Specialized Paraprofessional
Position Overview
- Title: Specialized Paraprofessional
- Reports To: Building Principal
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Contract Length: 192 work days
- Salary: In accordance with established schedule
- Specialized Para Pay Rate starts at $19.12
- Department: Classified
Key Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and student assessments
- Support students in classroom activities, including art, music, and PE
- Assist with toileting, feeding, mobility, and adaptive equipment
- Prepare behavior charts and maintain accurate records
- Maintain classroom order and address behavioral challenges calmly
- Provide clerical support and other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ohio Educational Aide Permit with ESEA Credential
- 1–2 years’ experience in a paraprofessional role preferred
Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of grammar, spelling, basic math, and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to assist students with physical and intellectual needs
- Ability to lift 25+ pounds, bend, stoop, and move around
ESEA Requirements
- If you are hired as an elementary school, specialized or library paraprofessional, you also need to meet the ESEA requirement.
- You can do this in one of these ways:
- Have an associate degree (or higher)
- Finish at least 48 semester hours of college classes
- Pass the Ohio ParaPro Test
Bus Driver
Position Overview
- Title: Full-Time Bus Driver
- Reports To: Building Principal
- Starting Pay Rate w/CDL: $21.75 per hour
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Responsible for assigned school bus routes, transporting students safely to and from school each day.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license; willingness/ability to obtain CDL + required endorsements
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and required physical/medical evaluations
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to student safety
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Office Aide/School Secretary

- Answer phones
- Manage mail and documents
- Coordinate events and meetings
