The MorseInstitute Library is a library with strong community support in the town of Natick. This position helps patrons access library services in-person and over the phone. The successful candidate will have a strong customer service background with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be detail oriented, and possess the ability to work well in a team environment. Previous library experience, bilingual abilities, and knowledge of Sierra ILS software is preferred, but not required. The Library is deliberate and self-reflective about the team we are building, and we are seeking folks who are not only strong in their own aptitudes but care deeply about supporting the growth of the Natick community. This is a part-time, non-benefited position (18 hours per week.) This position starts at $23.87 per hour (Step 1), with a full pay range of $23.87- $29.53 per hour in annual step increases in accordance with the union agreement. While this position is non-benefited, it accrues prorated sick, personal, and vacation time according to the union contract. The schedule is Mondays and Thursdays 3-9pm; Fridays 9-1pm, and every other Saturday 1-5pm.
