Librarian Internship - Fall 2026 (Non-Paid)
Qualifications
Approval from Intern Coordinator, Jennifer Garstecki (garstecki@cfisd.net), is required. Additionally, verifiable documentation for the internship, including a letter of support from the course instructor and a professional resume, must be provided. A completed background review is also necessary, although fingerprinting is not required at this point.
Working Conditions
The internship requires respecting the confidentiality of students, teachers, and campus during the internship period. Interns must comply with district and campus procedures and guidelines for the internship. Professional dress is mandatory for all observers, and admittance to the campus may be denied if attire is deemed inappropriate by an administrator. Interns must notify their mentor if they will be late or absent from the internship.
Terms
The internship is valid for one semester, and interns must re-apply each semester. Applications will be reviewed, and applicants should monitor their email regularly for any communication.
