Job Responsibilities
- Applies engineering expertise in mechanical and/or electrical systems to design, develop, and implement truck systems and components.
- Collaborates with cross-functional engineering teams and internal departments to successfully execute project objectives.
- Evaluates, approves, performs, and delegates design modifications to ensure product performance, quality, and compliance requirements are met.
- Identifies opportunities for innovation and leads the development of complex engineering designs and solutions.
- Directs and conducts technical research to support design development, problem resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manages design and manufacturing process changes through all phases of the product development lifecycle, including planning, analysis, design, testing, validation, and implementation.
- Executes project work that supports key operational objectives related to product quality improvement (PQI) and direct process utilization (DPU).
- Effectively manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.
- Utilizes strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and drive effective solutions.
- Communicates effectively with stakeholders at all levels through clear written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Buils collaborative relationships across teams through strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
