Technical Support Engineer - Evening Shift

This Engineer will begin with a 90-day onboarding and training period in our Tampa office, working a hybrid schedule during standard business hours. Upon successful completion of training, the role will transition to a fully Remote position supporting customers during our evening shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM ET). In recognition of these responsibilities, the role is eligible for a 10% shift differential.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and review Statements of Work (SOWs) for MHK integration projects involving 3rd party vendors/partners and document the solution.
  • Lead collaborative cross-functional teams (MHK, customer technical teams, and functional aspects) in designing and documenting overall solution architecture that leverages MHK interface capabilities to meet business objectives for scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Develop specifications based on MHK application infrastructure requirements and customer usage scenarios.
  • Work with MHK project manager(s) to develop and maintain a detailed MS Project schedule, ensuring timely completion of activities and milestones.
  • Deliver technical presentations on integration and interface capabilities to key customer business and technical stakeholders, explaining how product capabilities align with business functionality.
  • Collaborate with customers’ technical teams to create detailed, standards-based (XML, X12, REST, and SOAP Web Services) data interface specifications to ensure effective implementation.
  • Perform complex technical data issue analysis and resolution using in-depth knowledge of the MHK application data model, SQL database queries, and log file analysis.
  • Document and escalate technical issues using defined tools/processes, working with the MHK product/engineering team to resolve issues promptly.
  • Develop comprehensive deployment plans with customer teams to ensure smooth go-live, including software installation, configuration, data loads, validation, and go/no-go decision points.
  • Proactively identify, contribute to, and drive adoption of improvements to MHK implementation delivery processes and artifacts.
  • Manage executive and stakeholder expectations, negotiating priorities and responsiveness through transparent communication.
  • Drive customers’ technical teams to complete all deliverables, building and growing client trust through accountability, proactive communication, and tailored solutions.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Technical Consulting, Business Analysis, or Project Management within a technical healthcare environment.
  • SQL development and database administration experience (SQL Server preferred).
  • Basic ETL or data processes knowledge, including data mapping and XML data interfaces.
  • Experience designing API client applications/call sequences (REST/Postman, FHIR).
  • System security and administration knowledge (SSO, SSL).
  • Customer-facing technical requirements iteration with system integration and enterprise application architecture/design experience.
  • Familiarity with enterprise application integration platforms (SaaS Solutions).
  • Healthcare or health plan knowledge and SaaS platform experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in Technical Documentation and Business Analysis.
  • Data reporting experience, including data analysis and visualization tools, preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Schedule

  • 90-day onboarding and training: Hybrid schedule in Tampa office during standard business hours.
  • Post-training: Fully remote, evening shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM ET).

Pay

Eligible for a 10% shift differential.
