LGS SPV FACILITY PROPERTY

Job Functions

• Controls man-hours of LGSTX maintenance personnel and maximizes the utilization of resources.
• Inspects scheduled maintenance to ensure it meets company standards for quality, cost, and timeliness.
• Supervises maintenance staff.
• Provides coaching, employee development, conducts performance reviews, and suggests staffing recommendations.
• Maintains familiarity with contract requirements for various customers including scope of work and billing.
• Able to request guidance when necessary.
• Reports on the progress of maintenance projects to customers and LGSTX management.
• Able to develop positive relationships with customers, tenants, and intercompany colleagues.
• Submits budget recommendations, monitors expenses, prepares cost estimates, and submits justifications for new and replacement tools and equipment.
• Maintains oversight of supply and equipment usage.
• Orders supplies as needed.
• Ensures all employees complete required safety training, follow safe work practices, and use required safety equipment.
• Able to perform certain maintenance tasks and assist/supervise snow removal activities.

Required Job Skills

• At least 4 years of experience in facility maintenance.
• Familiarity with materials, methods, terminology, equipment, and tools used in maintenance, repair, and construction of structures.
• Familiarity with building systems such as plumbing, heating, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, painting, rough and finished carpentry.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and promotion of safe work practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of FAA Advisory Circulars, equipment operations manuals.

Preferred Job Skills

• Previous supervisory experience.
• Ability to work in high places.
• Tolerance for inclement weather.
• Experience around aviation facilities, navaids, airport lighting systems.
• High voltage experience.
