About the Role

As a Level III Engineer/Technician, you will ensure system operation and functionality so that end users can accomplish business tasks. Your role involves responding to support requests in a timely manner, serving as the initial reference point for all IT support-related tickets, and ensuring end-user satisfaction. You will work jointly with the sales team to provide pre-sales and post-sales support, including discovery meetings, site surveys, proposals, and presentations on technical assessments, implementations, and ongoing technical account management.

You are expected to display strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and exceptional customer service. This position requires collaboration with colleagues from various departments, executive levels, and customers daily.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for incoming requests to the service desk via telephone, web portal, or email to ensure courteous, timely, and effective resolution of end-user issues.
  • Provision and set up systems for new hires.
  • Prioritize incidents and service requests according to defined processes to meet SLAs.
  • Use remote tools and diagnostic utilities to resolve support requests.
  • Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including hardware repairs, delivery of peripherals, or other fixes as needed.
  • Install and configure hardware and software components across various network infrastructure devices.
  • Install antivirus software and ensure virus definitions are up to date.
  • Administer servers via Active Directory, File & Print services, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Perform network firewall and switch administration and maintenance.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning workstations, printers, and peripherals.
  • Establish good relationships with all departments and colleagues.
  • Ensure company safety and security standards are met.
  • Design and architect some network and server solutions.

Requirements

  • College diploma or university degree in Computer Science and/or 5 years of equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows 10, Windows 11, Server 2008, Server 2012, Server 2016, 2019, and Mac OS.
  • Experience with Microsoft M365, SharePoint, Entra, Azure, and Intune.
  • Network+ Certifications, CCNA/CCEA/CCIA (optional).
