Level II Security Officer (Training Provided)

Position Overview

Seasonal position at Six Flags Fiesta Texas offering an opportunity to launch a career in Security and Public Safety. The role involves helping provide a safe, secure, and family‑friendly environment for guests and Team Members throughout the park.

Responsibilities

• Conduct guest and Team Member screening at park entry points.
• Provide exceptional guest service while enforcing park policies and procedures.
• Patrol assigned areas of the park to maintain safety and security.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole.
• Report to Security Leadership.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain a State of Texas Level II Security Certification within 60 days.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods.
• Ability to follow procedures, policies, and directions from leadership.
• Previous security or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Pay

• Security Screener (pending certification): $10.25 per hour.
• Level II Security Officer (after certification): $14.75 per hour.
• Team Members have 60 days to obtain and provide the State of Texas Level II Security Certification; those who do not obtain certification within 60 days may remain in the Screener position at the Screener pay rate.
