Level II Security Officer (Paid Training Provided)

This is a seasonal position at Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, offering an exciting opportunity to launch a career in Security and Public Safety.

Pay

• $10.25/hour while working as a Security Screener pending certification
• The Security Department will provide Level II Security training opportunities
• Applicants will have 60 days to obtain and provide their State of Texas Level II Security Certification
• Once credentials are obtained and verified, pay increases to $14.75/hour as a Level II Security Officer
• Applicants who do not obtain certification within 60 days may remain in the Screener position at the Screener pay rate

Responsibilities

• Help provide a safe, secure, and family-friendly environment for guests and Team Members throughout the park
• Conduct guest and Team Member screening at park entry points
• Provide exceptional guest service while enforcing park policies and procedures
• Patrol assigned areas of the park to maintain safety and security
• Gain valuable experience working as a Security Screener while awaiting certification, learning park operations, guest interaction, and security procedures
• All other duties as assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to successfully obtain a State of Texas Level II Security Certification within 60 days
• Strong communication and guest service skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
• Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods of time
• Ability to follow procedures, policies, and directions from leadership
• Previous security or customer service experience is preferred, but not required
