Level II QC Technician
About the role
The primary responsibilities of the Level II QC Technician are to perform shop work in the following Non-destructive Testing techniques: (MT) Magnetic Particle, (PT) Dye Penetrant, (VT) Visual Testing, and (UTT) Ultrasonic thickness testing.

- Perform shop work in the following Non-destructive Testing techniques: (MT) Magnetic Particle, (PT) Dye Penetrant, (VT) Visual Testing, and (UTT) Ultrasonic thickness testing
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- SNT-TC1A for one or all of the following (Magnetic Particle, Penetrant, or Ultrasonic testing) required
- Prior certification as an NDT Level II with 1 year experience or prior experience as an NDT Level I technician with adequate field experience hours to certify to level II per SNT-TC1A standards in all or one of the following (Magnetic Particle, Penetrant, or Ultrasonic testing).
- Must have the ability to perform a wide variety of tasks and respond to short-notice work assignments
- Must have the ability to adapt to an ever-changing schedule
- Must be able to read technical documents, blueprints, and engineering specifications
- Must be able to follow precise directions and procedures
Qualifications
