Level II PAUT Technician -Corpus Christi, TX Full-Time

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking a Level II PAUT Technician for a full-time, permanent position in the Corpus Christi, TX area. This role requires approximately 50% travel.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate equipment
• Conduct tests using the appropriate NDT technique: Phased Array
• Interpret, evaluate, and document results
• Direct the work of trainees and Level I personnel
• Understand and apply codes, standards, and contractual documents relevant to the method
• Perform other assignments/responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements

• Level II PAUT certification (manual and encoded PAUT required)
• Level II AUT certification
• Level II MT, PT certification
• Level II VT or API 570 preferred
• Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A for PAUT
• Prior certification as an UTSW NDE Level II with one (1) year of experience or prior Level II certification per SNT-TC1A standards in Phased Array or UTSW
• High school graduate or equivalent
• TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
• Valid Driver’s License

Skills

• Thorough familiarity with the scope and limitations of the certified NDT method
• Ability to demonstrate competencies essential to the role
