Responsibilities

• Teach students in grades 1-6
• Implement curriculum aligned with district standards
• Maintain classroom management and student behavior
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff
• Participate in professional development activities

Requirements

• Valid New York State teaching certificate in Elementary Education or Childhood Education Grades 1-6
• Experience working with children in grades 1-6
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other educators and staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field
• Passing scores on relevant state assessments
