Level 2-3 Data Center Installers (Max $30/hr W2)

Shift: Nights - Sunday evening to Friday morning - 9:30 pm to 5:30 am (100 percent nights). Local resources only.

About the Role

The Level 2-3 Installer will perform all basic and intermediate installation work activities in central office environments. The Installer will be coached and mentored as needed.

Responsibilities

• Understand the installation and decommissioning of data center equipment
• Create and apply accurate labels to cables and equipment
• Install various types of cables (including fiber optic and copper) while adhering to industry standards and color codes
• Terminate RJ45 connectors on cables to ensure reliable network connections
• Work with power distribution units (PDUs), fiber optic cables, copper cables, and patch panels to ensure optimal network performance

Skills

Experience with fiber optic and copper cabling, patch panels, and PDUs is preferred.
