About the role
Law Enforcement Training Instructor III position within the Training Operations Division – Field Training Branch – Field Section, located in Louisville, KY.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and evaluate law-enforcement field-training curriculum.
- Assess trainee performance and document progress.
- Coordinate with branch leadership on program improvements.
Requirements
- Must complete a profile and application on the Kentucky Personnel Cabinet’s hiring website (MyPurpose).
- Must apply individually to each job opening for which you wish to compete.
Process overview
- Upon application submission, you will receive a confirmation via MyPurpose.
- The Kentucky Personnel Cabinet and DOCJT will assess suitability.
- Selected candidates will be interviewed by DOCJT.
- DOCJT submits the top three applicants to the Division of Career Opportunities (DCO) for state personnel review.
- DOCJT extends an offer to the top candidate approved by DCO.
- All applicants will be notified of their status through the MyPurpose portal.
- Unselected applicants may reapply for any open position for which they qualify.
- The entire hiring process must be completed within 90 days.
