LEO Lecturer I - Chinese Art History
Job Summary
The Department of the History of Art at the University of Michigan invites applications for a LEO Lecturer I position in Chinese art history from any period at 66.67% effort. This appointment is anticipated to start August 25, 2026, and will support one of the department's major undergraduate areas.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the course syllabi and materials
- Deliver course content to students
- Provide student assessments including grading and feedback
Required Qualifications
- Master's in Chinese art or a relevant specialized field
Modes of Work
Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment.
Additional Information
- The successful applicant will be offered a two academic period appointment for the 2026-2027 academic year, from August 25, 2026 to May 24, 2027, with a possibility of renewal.
