LEO Adjunct Lecturer - ENG126
LEO Adjunct Lecturer position for Fall Term 2026 to teach ENGR 126L: Engineering Computer Graphics. This is a 25% appointment.
About the role
Principles of solid modeling and the representation of solid models using both conventional drawing and computer graphics. Orthographic representation of points, lines, planes and solids. Reference planes. Auxiliary views. Sections, conventions, dimensioning. Fundamentals of computer-assisted graphics in engineering disciplines. Three-dimensional modeling using computer graphics software. Two-hour lectures and two-hour laboratory.
Schedule
- Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 11:45 AM (in-person, Dearborn campus)
- Friday: 10:00 AM – 11:45 AM and 12:00 PM – 1:45 PM (in-person, Dearborn campus)
Responsibilities
- Teach three ENGR 126L labs for Engineering Computer Graphics
- Prepare course syllabus and content
- Deliver in-person instruction
- Grade student work
- Hold office hours
- Attend meetings/discussions with the Department Chair
