Lenovo Esports and Gaming Lab Graduate Assistant

Essential Job Duties

The Lenovo Esports and Gaming Lab Assistant will join the team in the Lenovo Esports and Gaming Lab dedicated to fostering a vibrant gaming and esports culture at our university. The lab is a dynamic environment designed to support self-guided learning, community engagement, and competitive gaming. This position supports the Gaming and Esports Program, with a focus on events, live streaming, and space management.

• Support community engagement strategies to introduce users to gaming and esports.
• Support collaborate with various colleges within NC State to support classes being instructed in the gaming and esports lab.
• Staff the Gaming and Esports Lab during Saturday evenings.
• Help administer outreach events to increase campus awareness of the esports program.
• Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the lab's offerings and improve user experience.
• Bring their own interests and expertise to contribute to the lab's growth.

Requirements

• Familiarity with gaming and esports.
• Interest or experience in any of the following areas: event planning, live streaming, space management, or tournament coordination.
• Comfortable with technology (software and hardware).
• Exhibits flexibility and demonstrates a willingness to learn new skills and take on new tasks.

Work Schedule

Schedule varies based on availability, including Saturday evenings.

Pay

$17/hour
