About the role
National General is a part of The Allstate Corporation, offering home, auto, and accident and health insurance, as well as other specialty niche insurance products. As a Loss Drafts Senior Associate, you will facilitate achievement of service level agreements by mentoring peers, reviewing, verifying, and processing complex insurance-related documentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance insurance operations skills and knowledge by participating in cross-training and taking personal initiative for learning additional procedures to support multiple workflows and assist with complex, critical and time-sensitive processes
- Optimize individual performance and development by setting work-related goals, tracking personal achievements, soliciting feedback, and collaborating with management to report on success and identify actionable improvement strategies
- Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others to reward performance and value “can do” people, accountability, diversity and inclusion, flexibility, continuous improvement, collaboration, creativity and fun
- Perform data entry to keep logs, records, and files up-to-date and readily accessible
- Process multiple insurance-related documentation queues by reviewing and verifying complex data, resolving exceptions, and updating clients' systems of record to ensure accuracy and completeness of database information
- Facilitate success of insurance operations team by resolving basic escalated issues and guiding peers on best practices to increase effectiveness and efficiency of processing functions
- Deliver on service level agreements by completing high volume of data entry and processing multiple insurance-related documentation queues quickly and accurately to meet department quality and productivity standards
Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
Experience: 0-2 years experience (Preferred)

Compensation: 18.61 – 27.77 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
