Lending Operations Development Manager

About the role

The Loan Operations Program Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the processing of all bank's portfolio loans. This position requires a high volume of work in a deadline-driven environment and involves leading and managing various loan operational areas.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a resource for problem-solving regarding all loan operational issues.
• Ensures all departmental documents and activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Serves as the unit's project manager to ensure timely and effective implementation of changes.
• Collaborates with loan operations managers and supervisors to delegate workload duties and assist in workload accuracy and efficiency.
• Provides guidance on balancing loan general ledger applications.
• Maintains detailed records on all work responsibilities.
• Performs special projects as assigned.
• Handles inquiries from employees and customers, resolving problems.
• Works as the SME for the unit, demonstrating mastery-level knowledge of most job processes.
• Administers credit life, credit bureau, and insurance functions related to loan operations.
