About the role
We are seeking a passionate leader to join our team at Charité Campus Virchow-Klinikum, Wedding. You will lead and coordinate the midwifery team in close collaboration with medical and nursing staff. You will ensure high-quality and patient-centered maternity care while adhering to current medical standards. You will also organize and conduct continuing education programs for the midwifery team, participate in the development of concepts for continuous improvement in maternity care, and manage the service planning and quality and risk management in the area of maternity care.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the midwifery team in close collaboration with medical and nursing staff
- Safeguard high-quality and patient-centered maternity care while adhering to current medical standards
- Organize and conduct continuing education programs for the midwivery team
- Participate in the development of concepts for continuous improvement in maternity care
- Manage the service planning and quality and risk management in the area of maternity care
- Engage in academic development of maternity care and collaborate on research projects
- Support and foster interdisciplinary exchange and teaching within the field of maternity care
Requirements
- A completed midwifery training with relevant professional experience
- A completed university degree with a management education
- Fundamental knowledge and experience in clinical maternity care, including the care of high-risk pregnancies
- Led a team and demonstrated leadership skills
- Outstanding communication and organizational abilities
- Highly motivated, flexible, and responsible
- Active participation in academic development and teaching
- Continuous professional development and research involvement
Qualifications
- Completed midwifery training with relevant professional experience
- Completed university degree with a management education
- Experience in clinical maternity care, including the care of high-risk pregnancies
- Leadership skills and experience leading a team

Pay
Entgeltgruppe P13 according to TVöD VKA - K. The grouping is based on qualifications.
