Legislative Intern
About the role
Taft is seeking a legislative intern to support the Public Affairs Strategies Group in the Indianapolis office. All Taft employees operate under a “Client First” philosophy—in all things, we seek to provide exceptional services to our clients.
The ideal candidate has an interest in politics and specifically the Indiana state legislative process and has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The position requires a flexible schedule and high-level communications skills. It is highly recommended to take the semester off utilizing the internship for college credit.
Schedule
Full-time from December 14, 2026 through May 7, 2027.
Pay
This is a paid internship comparable to other legislative internships in the marketplace. It also includes paid parking and a cell phone stipend.
