Responsibilities
Monitor the status of and review congressional products including Defense-related legislation, committee reports, and hearing materials.
Audit and assess impacts on all programs in the Assistant Secretary of War for Acquisition (AS W (A)) portfolio.
Draft and coordinate responses to congressional requests for information.
Prepare congressional testimony for OUSW (A&S) leadership.
Support the annual rollout of the President’s Budget.
Prepare Statements of Administration Policy, impact statements, and appeals.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Major staff experience (OUSW (A&S) preferred)
- Experience supporting senior DoW Leadership
- Experience in legislative affairs or in congressional staff
- Active TS/SCI clearance

Salary range: USD $120,000.00/Yr. - USD $160,000.00/Yr.
