Legal Unit Supervisor
Job Description and Duties
The Attorney Supervisor is responsible for managing and overseeing a team of Attorneys responsible for interpreting and enforcing employment and labor law compliance and enforcement across the state. They also help oversee the day-to-day operations of the Legal Office and assist the Assistant Chief Counsel in improving coordination and efficiency of the workflow.
Minimum Requirements
You must meet the minimum requirements as outlined in the Classification Specification. These include having a valid law license and relevant experience in labor and employment law.
Desirable Qualifications
While not mandatory, desirable qualifications include experience with wage claims adjudication, familiarity with the Labor Commissioner’s Office, and knowledge of the Personal Leave Program 2025.
Special Requirements

Working Conditions
The position is based in San Bernardino. Working conditions are generally office-based but may involve some travel.
