Legal Spend Analyst & Architect
For our client, we are seeking a Legal Spend Analyst & Architect to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will shape the analytical foundations behind legal spend reporting and help define the business logic that supports accurate, decision‑ready insights. The ideal candidate will partner with stakeholders across legal operations and finance‑adjacent teams to modernize legacy workflows, strengthen data quality, and improve visibility for senior leadership. A blend of analytical rigor, technical fluency, and the ability to translate complex concepts into practical guidance will be essential in this remote opportunity.
Location: Remote – US‑based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Own key business definitions and calculation methods for legal spend analysis
- Audit and refactor legacy Excel files into modern data paradigms
- Validate data analysis and ensure quality and consistency
- Support reporting efforts to convey insights to senior audiences
Qualifications
- Deep background in Legal Operations, Billing Management, or Spend Analysis
- Familiarity with SQL and Python for technical understanding
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for stakeholders
- Curiosity to learn about LLMs/AI data consumption
- Experience with large CSV/Parquet datasets, preferably
- Knowledge of E‑Billing and Enterprise Legal Management exports is advantageous

$100,000 – $120,000 annually
