Legal - Contracts Analyst

For our client, we are seeking a Legal - Contracts Analyst to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will serve as a key legal partner to the business, focusing on commercial contracting support and practical day-to-day guidance. You will manage a wide range of agreement types, collaborate closely with sales and internal stakeholders, and help keep business initiatives moving with sound legal judgment. The position also offers exposure to data privacy, compliance, and strategic projects across the organization. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $110,000 – $120,000 annually Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for legal requests within the business division Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including NDAs, license agreements, and service agreements Support data solutions and collaborate with sales on subscription agreements Engage in a broad range of legal matters and support strategic projects Provide assistance across different business areas by collaborating with legal team members Manage routine legal inquiries and escalate complex issues as necessary Participate in special projects for business development and strategy Qualifications 0-3 years of experience in commercial law from a law firm or in-house role Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Excellent written and spoken English skills Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a variety of agreements Hard-working and pragmatic mindset with strong judgment Ability to provide clear and practical legal advice to internal clients Capable of working independently while being a supportive team player Benefits Structured onboarding and training on products and internal processes Access to negotiation templates and playbooks for consistent decision-making Mentorship from experienced attorneys with feedback on key skills Opportunities for scope expansion into data privacy and compliance areas Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
