About the Role

We are looking for experienced US Legal Domain Experts specialising in Family Law and Estate Succession Law to support legal research, content review, legal analysis, and AI/data-related projects. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of applicable US federal and state laws, legal terminology, case law, statutes, regulations, and practical legal procedures relating to family matters, wills, trusts, probate, and succession.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed legal research using authoritative US legal sources
  • Analyse statutes, regulations, case law, court decisions, and legal documents
  • Review and validate legal content for accuracy, relevance, and jurisdictional applicability
  • Identify differences between federal and state-specific legal requirements
  • Provide clear and well-supported legal explanations
  • Assist with legal content evaluation and AI/data annotation tasks
  • Identify legal inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or jurisdictional issues
  • Apply appropriate legal reasoning to complex family and estate succession scenarios
  • Maintain a high standard of accuracy, confidentiality, and professional judgement

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD), LL.M., or equivalent recognised US legal qualification
  • Active US Bar admission preferred/required, depending on the assignment
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Family Law, Estate Planning, Probate, Trusts, Succession Law, or related practice areas
  • Strong understanding of US legal terminology and legal research methodologies
  • Experience working with state-specific US laws and court procedures
  • Excellent written and analytical communication skills
  • Ability to independently interpret and evaluate complex legal materials
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle legal distinctions
