This is an Hourly position. Overview POSITION SUMMARY: The Legal Secretary provides administrative support to Legal Services Division. Maintains the calendars, schedules appointments, resolves scheduling conflicts, makes travel arrangements, electronically files court documents, and transcribes dictation. Provides general clerical support such record keeping, answering/routing calls, writing documents and creating presentations. Manages projects and prioritizes work with minimal supervision. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma/ GED Experience Secretary and/or administrative experience . Licensure/ Certification: N/A Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Associate degree Experience: Working knowledge of Odyssey eFileIL and PACER. Legal secretary and/or Legal administrative experience Licensure/ Certification: Office Professional Certification Other Skills/ Knowledge: Intermediate level in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Proficient with email and calendaring systems Proven communication and interpersonal skills in previous job or classwork Demonstrated organizational and prioritizing skills OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
