About the role
We are seeking a Receptionist for our San Diego office. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, friendly environment, handles day-to-day challenges, and adapts to shifting priorities while maintaining professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Answer a multi-line phone system promptly and courteously, routing calls to the proper extensions across multiple office locations
- Maintain friendly and professional customer interactions via telephone and internet chat
- Document and communicate team actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs to support continuity
- Assist with catering orders, setup, and cleanup
- Maintain conference rooms and administration calendars
- Interact professionally with internal and external clients at all levels
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and courier services
- Prepare and organize legal documents, correspondence, and files
- Order and maintain office supplies
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in delicate situations
- Escort or direct visitors and clients to conference rooms as needed
- Represent the firm’s professional image with a neat and organized reception area
- Notify appropriate personnel of visitor arrivals
- Assist attorneys with tasks such as making outside reservations and scheduling couriers
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in legal administration or customer service, preferably in a law firm environment
- Professional appearance, enthusiastic attitude, and clear, courteous telephone voice
- Strong communication skills to interact tactfully and professionally with lawyers, employees, and visitors
- High attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Ability to work under pressure, respond quickly to changing demands, and work both independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle physical tasks, including walking with a food cart, bending, lifting, and standing; ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
Pay
$25.00 to $27.50 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule
