About the Role
The Legal Team at Exol is a core part of our organization, serving as strategic partners who ensure the company operates within the law, manages complex risks, and protects Exol’s interests as we scale our Robotic Logistics Platform™. As a Legal Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in managing the administrative and operational pillars of a fast-paced legal department, focusing on contract management, intellectual property management, and corporate governance.
Responsibilities
- Assist the legal team in the drafting, formatting, and administrative management of complex agreements, including Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and technology licenses.
- Support corporate governance by maintaining corporate records and assisting in the preparation and filing of various corporate filings.
- Coordinate corporate transaction work, including mergers, acquisitions, and financing. Oversee due diligence data rooms and coordinate with external counsel.
- Manage the legal billing process, review outside counsel invoices, and ensure cost-effective use of external resources.
- Maintain and update corporate entity records, state filings, and business licenses to ensure Exol remains in good standing across all jurisdictions.
- Manage an international trademark portfolio.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of paralegal experience, preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house experience.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program.
- Experience managing an international trademark portfolio.
- Proven track record of supporting Board-level functions and managing corporate entities and filings.
- Mastery of contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional writing skills and the ability to interact professionally with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, joint-venture environment and can manage multiple "high-priority" tasks with precision.
Work Environment
- Up to 10% travel may be required.
- A valid driver’s license is necessary for visits to client or customer locations.
