Legal - Litigation Attorney III

About the role

The Legal-Litigation department at The Cincinnati Insurance Companies is seeking an experienced litigation attorney for their New York City territory.

Responsibilities

• Defend litigation cases related to auto liability, premises liability, and other personal lines and commercial insurance civil litigation to a successful conclusion.
• Provide effective and timely communication and legal advice to clients on legal and factual issues.
• Partner with claims supervisors to achieve the best results.

Requirements

• New York law license.
• Strong academic and professional credentials.
• Five or more years of litigation and trial experience.
• Jury trial experience.
• Insurance defense experience (strongly preferred).

Qualifications

• Experience from another carrier or new to the insurance industry.
• Lifelong learning approach promoted by the company.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $150,000 - $220,000 annually. Pay is based on the applicant's education, experience, location, knowledge, skills and abilities.
