The firm advises philanthropies, NGOs, educational institutions, CSR entities, and social impact organisations, while also supporting government and multilateral initiatives through research and policy work.

About the role

The Legal Associate will join Pacta’s Transactions Team, focusing on legal advisory and compliance support for nonprofits and social sector organisations.

Eligibility

• 1–2 years of experience
• Prior law firm experience is mandatory
• Interest in using legal skills for social impact work
• Experience or specialisation in:
  • Technology Law (preferred)
  • Labour Law (preferred)

Note: Freshers are not eligible for this role.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review agreements, policies, and legal notices
• Advise on nonprofit governance and compliance matters
• Support labour law, POSH, and employment-related work
• Conduct legal research and training workshops
• Work closely with clients and internal teams
