Responsibilities
- Support the firm’s public capital market investment activities
- Review, negotiate, and implement investment-related agreements
- Analyze legal and commercial issues that arise in these contexts
- Improve contracting processes and support the implementation of technology solutions, including AI tools, to enhance the efficiency of legal workflows
- Contribute to the development and improvement of legal processes, design, and efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in political science, Government, Economics, Finance, or a related field
- 1-2 years' experience in a legal or contracting function at an asset manager, financial institution, or large corporate
- Experience in technology applications
- Interest in the implementation of legal technology and process design and improvement
- Good business judgement and strong collaboration skills
- A pragmatic and risk-aware approach to contracting, coordination, and collaboration within the Legal team and wider business
- Proven written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively distill and communicate complex issues in a dynamic environment
- The character and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
