Legal Intake Specialist / Receptionist
This position is responsible for performing clerical tasks within the office to support daily operations. Duties include answering and transferring phone calls, communicating and scheduling with potential clients, and greeting visitors.

Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests, directing visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Communicate with prospective clients by phone and email to understand their cases
- Schedule initial consultation appointments with attorneys for promising potential clients
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email regarding client cases
- Onboard new clients by completing necessary paperwork and assembling initial case files
- Role-play daily to improve sales and closing skills for scheduling consultations
- Attend mandatory daily sales meetings at 8:30 a.m.
- Review and work toward daily, weekly, and monthly intake team goals
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and stocked with necessary materials (e.g., pens, forms, brochures)
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
- Order front office supplies and manage inventory
- Update calendars and schedule meetings
- Maintain records of office expenses and costs
- Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing; assist attorneys with general office tasks
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Drive Suite
- Experience with office equipment (computers, printers, etc.)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Great phone, sales, and customer service skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
- Willingness to learn and improve professionally
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs

Pay
From $35,000.00 per year, with additional commission opportunities for scheduling consultations with qualified leads.
