About the role
We are a busy and growing legal services company supporting law firms with process serving and document delivery. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Legal Document/Intake Specialist to help keep daily operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Review and process legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Perform data entry to initiate, update, and close case files
- Prepare, scan, image, and upload legal documents for law firm clients
- Maintain organized digital records and case documentation
- Communicate with law firms, customers, and contract process servers regarding case updates
- Perform collection calls for past due balances when necessary
- Provide professional and courteous customer service
- Aid with general administrative and clerical duties to support office operations
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of general office or administrative experience preferred
- Comfortable using basic computer systems and office software
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Strong typing and data entry accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Professional demeanor when working with clients and legal professionals
