Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal and factual research into institutions, policies, and initiatives related to censorship and free expression.
- Collect, organize, and analyze publicly available information relevant to investigative efforts.
- Prepare research memoranda and analytical reports supporting senior attorneys and leadership.
- Draft and submit public records and transparency requests at federal, state, and international levels.
- Track deadlines, manage follow-up communications, and monitor compliance.
- Review and analyze records obtained through transparency requests.
- Assist in preparing materials related to transparency enforcement actions.
- Assist in mapping relationships among institutions, organizations, and programs relevant to censorship-related issues.
- Compile factual records supporting litigation development, legislative initiatives, and oversight efforts.
- Support the development of investigative research files and briefing materials.
Minimum Qualifications
- JD., licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- 3+ years of relevant experience
