Legal Counsel

About the role

The Legal Counsel position is based in Elixirr's Dallas office in Frisco. The role is integral to the working culture of US based employees and plays a key relationship building role in supporting Elixirr Partners and Principals to engage with FTSE 100, Fortune 500 and private equity-backed clients in various sectors.

Responsibilities

• Provide a broad spectrum of legal advice to support Elixirr’s US growth.
• Support in the post-acquisition integration of US acquisitions.
• Support US based group entities with a broad range of commercial and corporate legal advice.
• Work closely with Elixirr’s General Counsel, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operations Officer and the CEOs of US entities.
• Operate independently and collaborate and communicate well with London-based legal team members, external clients and internal business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Texas, California or New York bar.
• 4+ years’ post qualification experience from a reputable law firm and in-house experience.
• Sound knowledge of commercial contracts including intellectual property and data protection provisions.
• Experience of corporate and company secretarial work to support the company secretarial function.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
• A keen interest in AI innovation.
• A collaborative and commercial negotiation style.

Qualifications
