About the role

Our firm is seeking a Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal practice and be responsible for providing legal support to various departments within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and counsel on a wide range of legal issues
• Review and negotiate contracts and agreements
• Represent the company in legal disputes and litigation
• Assist with compliance matters and regulatory inquiries
• Manage and train junior attorneys and paralegals

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in New York State
• Minimum 3 years of relevant legal experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate law preferred
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
• Experience with contract review and negotiation

• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
