Legal Counsel

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of litigation and claims, including commercial disputes, product liability matters, and other legal proceedings, by developing and implementing litigation strategy, managing outside counsel, overseeing case management, and monitoring legal budgets.
• Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of commercial and corporate matters, including contracts, marketing, and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
• Provide legal training to business clients.
• Handle other legal matters as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; admission to practice law in Texas. 5+ years of litigation experience, including significant time at a reputable law firm. In-house experience strongly preferred, particularly in manufacturing, automotive, technology, or related industries. Experience with product liability and commercial litigation is required.
