Associate Legal Counsel

About the role

We are looking for an exceptional lawyer based in NYC to join our growing global Legal team. The Legal team is a dynamic, external and internal-facing function which supports all aspects of the business across all of our offices.

What you’ll do

• Negotiating contracts with clients and vendors;
• Working closely with the client services team and our clients’ legal and compliance teams to ensure clients access knowledge safely;
• Drafting and implementing internal policies and procedures to appropriately manage risk;
• Developing and delivering legal and compliance training to the business;
• Dealing with evolving areas of law including intellectual property, data privacy, technology, sanctions and regulatory compliance, employment and taxation.

• Strong written, oral and presentation skills;

Technical Qualifications

• JD from a US law school;
• At least 3 years experience at a top-tier US law firm;
• Attorney licensed to practice in New York;
• Experience drafting and negotiating client-facing commercial contracts is a plus, with litigation and/or arbitration experience also being valuable;
• Experience dealing with regulatory and securities related matters and/or a corporate law background is a plus;
• Track record of achievement in professional and academic activities;

Compensation and Benefits

• Compensation ranging from $150-200k;
• 20 vacation days, in addition to 10 public holidays, and business closure during winter holiday week;
