Legal Coordinator
Job Summary
The Legal Coordinator supports the General Counsel and Legal Team at Benchmark, a senior living company with over 70 communities and $3 billion in assets. This position oversees document management, contract administration, corporate legal training resources, allocation of legal-related costs, litigation support, transaction organization, and administrative support.
Principal Duties/Responsibilities
Oversee document management, manage and organize numerous documents, prepare and/or edit contracts, maintain digital and physical files.
Contract administration, receive and assign contracts, track status, maintain corporate signed contract digital library.
Corporate legal training resources & tools, maintain Legal page on Hub, create and update presentations for corporate committees, board meetings, etc.
Allocate legal-related costs, prepare invoices, reconcile discrepancies, review invoices, prepare expense reports.
Litigation-related support, organize discovery responses, coordinate medical records review, participate in claims tool process.
Transaction organization & support, prepare paperwork for LTI program, ensure timely 83(b) IRS filings.
Administrative support, administrator of legal assignments, organize staff meetings, maintain retainer agreements, make travel arrangements, keep office organized, balance competing needs.
