About the Role
As a key member of the Compliance Team, you will play an integral part in helping Enovis drive the medical technology industry forward by transforming patient care and creating better patient outcomes. This role ensures adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry codes (e.g., FDA requirements, AdvaMed Code, global anti-corruption laws) while driving operational excellence across compliance processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize legal and compliance operational processes.
- Manage legal operations, including contract lifecycle management (CLM), matter management, document management, and legal technology platforms.
- Coordinate compliance programs to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Monitor regulatory changes and partner with business leaders to assess organizational impact.
- Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Support enterprise risk management initiatives and compliance audits.
- Track legal and compliance metrics, KPIs, and reporting for executive leadership.
- Manage compliance training programs and employee awareness initiatives.
- Coordinate responses to internal and external audits, regulatory inquiries, and investigations.
- Collaborate with Legal, Human Resources, Finance, Information Security, Privacy, Procurement, and Internal Audit teams.
- Oversee third-party risk assessments and vendor compliance reviews.
- Manage legal and compliance budgets, outside counsel relationships, and vendor performance.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives through process automation and workflow optimization.
- Maintain records retention, governance, and document management programs.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant Compliance experience; 5+ years preferred.
- Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s degree, or substantially equivalent work experience.
- Professional focus on Life Sciences/Medical Device Compliance strongly preferred.
- Experience managing HCP interactions and working in the orthopedic industry preferred.
- Relevant transferrable skills and experience will be considered.
- 3–5 years of project management experience is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% to various offices globally.
