Compensation: $40,000 to $55,000

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end appeals process for billing disputes across 25 legal e-billing platforms, ensuring deadlines are met and revenue is recovered
• Liaise with attorneys and internal teams to address billing reductions, clarify time entries, and secure necessary approvals or revisions
• Maintain efficient documentation and tracking to meet strict client guidelines and reporting requirements
• Support process improvement and knowledge sharing within the billing and accounting team
• Drive positive client relationships through proactive communication and problem resolution

Requirements

• At least intermediate Excel proficiency within a professional setting
• Relevant work history in legal billing, claims appeals, legal secretary, or paralegal roles OR demonstrated ability to learn complex systems/processes quickly
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to interface with cross-functional teams
