Responsibilities
- Co-lead the firm's billing operations and ensure accurate, timely invoice processing
- Manage compliance with client billing requirements and guidelines
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of 14 Billing Specialists
- Review billing activity, resolve discrepancies, and ensure operational efficiency
- Analyze billing and revenue reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Partner with attorneys, clients, and internal stakeholders to resolve billing-related matters
- Drive process improvements and best practices across the billing function
- Support reporting, forecasting, and financial operations initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 7+ years of billing experience
- Experience with Elite 3E billing software
- Prior law firm experience required
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Advanced Excel and reporting skills preferred
- Experience managing or mentoring staff is highly preferred
