About the Job
Coco Leni is seeking a Legal Associate to join its team in Goa. The role involves handling contracts and agreements, supporting corporate and commercial legal matters, ensuring statutory compliance, coordinating on litigation matters, and advising on legal risks across business operations.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, NDAs, vendor agreements, and lease agreements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and statutory requirements.
- Cooky with external legal counsel on litigation, legal notices, and court matters.
- Provide legal support on corporate, commercial, employment, and business-related matters.
- Identify legal risks and recommend practical solutions.
- Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies whenever required.
- Maintain legal documentation and ensure timely statutory compliances.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree; LL.M. will be preferred.
- 2–5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Prior experience in the manufacturing or retail industry will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of corporate laws, contract management, labour laws, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
