Key Responsibilities
- Draft, proofread, and format correspondence, legal documents, and pleadings.
- Filer legal documents electronically and in person with state and federal courts.
- Maintain case files and organize both physical and electronic documents.
- Schedule depositions, meetings, and court appearances.
- Track deadlines and manage attorney calendars.
- Communicate professionally with clients, court staff, and vendors.
- Support billing processes and time entry as needed.
- Assist with trial preparation and general administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Prior law firm experience preferred (1+ years in litigation support or administrative role).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting attorneys in personal injury, workers' comp, or insurance defense.
- E-filing experience with local, state, and federal courts.
- Bilingual a plus.
